Meetup with Space Coast Chapter

Members of the Space Coast Regional Friends Group are coming to Jacksonville from March 27-29 on a "First Coast Quest" and we have worked together to create several group events/meetups! We are excited to share our area and exchange ideas with this established FMNP chapter.

Combined Events Overview

Saturday, March 28

8-11am: Group Hike at Julington Durbin Creek Preserve, led by Emily Bell of Florida Wildflower Foundation.

1pm: Group Hike at Theodore Roosevelt Area, Spanish Pond Trailhead, led by a park ranger. The hike is a moderate, three-mile trek encompassing the history and nature of TRA.

6:30pm: Group Dinner. Your choice of bbs restaurant and bar, 1019 Hendricks Ave, Jacksonville or The Bearded Pig at 1808 Kings Avenue, Jacksonville.

Sunday, March 29

10 AM: Group Hike at Big Talbot Island State Park. Led by Jessica Paarlberg, Master Naturalist Instructor and NE Florida Friends Group leader.
